Kathleen Moore

President, Capital Planning Institute

Kathleen has been working in the financial services industry for 30 years. Kathleen started her career with Capital Planning Institute in June 1983. She was named Vice President of the firm in 1993 and was promoted to President of CPI in June 2013.

Kathleen has been working with individual and small business owners to help create, preserve and monitor their financial assets. This is accomplished with a four-step process of defining their financial goals: designing a written and customized financial plan including recommendations, implementing the strategy and finally monitoring / updating the plan as needed based on the ever-changing financial environment. 

Kathleen is a graduate of the Katharine Gibbs Business School. She has also earned designations as a Certified Funds Specialist (CFS) and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). These designations give Kathleen unique insight into the aging process as it relates to investing. In addition to these designations, Kathleen also holds her FINRA General Securities license (series 7), her FINRA General Securities Principal license (series 24), as well as State Life, Health and Variable insurance licenses.
Kathleen is married with one daughter and has lived in Cinnaminson, NJ for over 30 years. She is also the Director of the Senior Resource Alliance of Burlington County which was established by CPI in 2005.
